Most businesses start with Build
Roughly two thirds of the projects we take are Build. It is the point where a business has services, locations or people that keep changing, and the CMS stops being a nice extra and starts saving the front desk an afternoon a week. Launch is the right answer when you have six pages and no plans to add more. Partner suits owners who want the site and the demand handled together and would rather spread the cost than pay it up front.
If you are between two of them, say so on the call. We will tell you which one we would sell you if we were spending your money, and it is not always the more expensive one.
Extras, priced the same way
Added to the quote up front where you know you need them, or quoted in writing later if they come up mid-project.
- Extra page template$650 each
- A new unique layout beyond the package allowance, designed and built.
- Copywriting$450 per page
- We interview you, write the page, and revise it twice. Most clients take this for the homepage and top service pages only.
- Content migration beyond 40 items$8 per item
- For large blog or product archives. Under 40 items is already included in Build and Partner.
- Ecommerce setupfrom $3,200
- Webflow Ecommerce or a Foxy/Stripe integration, including tax, shipping and order emails.
- Care plan, no marketing$390 per month
- Backups, platform updates, small edits, uptime monitoring and 2 hours of changes a month.
What you pay for elsewhere
These sit outside our fee on purpose, so they stay in your name and you can see exactly what they cost.
- Webflow's own hosting and workspace fees, which you pay directly to Webflow so you keep control of the account
- Advertising spend, which always goes on your own card and never through us
- Stock photography, custom illustration or video production
- Third-party tools like schedulers, CRMs or call tracking, though we will set them up
- Ongoing copywriting unless you take it as an add-on or it is part of a Partner month
How and when you actually pay
- How the instalments work
- Launch is split 50% to start and 50% at launch. Build is split into three: 40% to start, 30% when design is signed off, 30% before we go live. Partner is billed monthly in advance from the day the build starts.
- What happens if scope changes
- We quote the change in writing before we do it, and you approve it or you do not. Nothing appears on an invoice that you have not already seen and agreed to as a number.
- If we get the estimate wrong
- That is ours to absorb. A fixed price is only worth something if it holds when the job turns out harder than we thought, and it has done more than once.
The questions that decide the budget
Costs, timelines, who pays Webflow and whether you are locked in. All answered before you spend anything.
How much does a Webflow site from Refresh cost?
Our Launch package starts at $6,500 for a six-page marketing site, and Build starts at $14,500 for a CMS-driven site with your content migrated in. Partner spreads a Build across twelve months at $4,200 a month with the marketing included. You get a fixed number on the scoping call, not a range that moves later.
How long does a build take?
Three to four weeks for a Launch site, six to nine weeks for a Build. A replatform from a large WordPress site is usually eight to twelve. The single biggest thing that moves the date is content: if your copy and photographs are ready, we hit the early end of the range.
Who pays for Webflow, and whose account is it on?
You do, and yours. We build inside your Webflow workspace so the project belongs to you from day one. Site hosting runs roughly $23 to $49 a month depending on the plan, billed by Webflow directly. We are not a reseller and we do not mark it up, which also means we cannot hold your site hostage.
Can I edit the site myself afterwards?
Yes, and it is designed around that. Anything you change more than twice goes into the CMS with plain-language field labels. You get a recorded walkthrough per collection and a live training session. Most clients publish their first page themselves within a week of launch.
Can you move my existing WordPress site to Webflow?
That is a large share of what we do. We crawl the existing site first, keep the URLs that already rank, and hand-map every other page to a 301 redirect before the switch. Posts, products and team pages migrate into CMS collections rather than being retyped. Expect a short dip in organic traffic for a week or two, then recovery.
Do I have to buy the marketing as well as the build?
No. Plenty of clients take Launch or Build, get the keys, and run everything themselves. The marketing exists because clients kept asking us to point the traffic at the site we had just built, not because a build requires it. You can also add it six months later once you have seen how the site performs on its own.
A fixed price, on the call, for your actual site
The packages above are the starting points. Forty-five minutes on the phone turns one of them into a quote with your page count and your date on it.
